    how would you achieve animation?

I want papers coming out of a mail box and the paper flying off with bending and flipping.

I’ve got both CS 2 and 3, so hopefully I can get it done in After Effects, otherwise, I’m thinking of 3D Max now.

Please share any tutorials or tricks.
Oh, each paper has it’s own contents, so it can’t be just bunch of short strokes.

    Thanks a bunch.

I’ve in the past used CC Page curl for this type of effect. Add two CC Page Curls and play with the settings. I imagine you could add some expressions to make things easier.

To make things move along a path create a mask path, then right-click the layer and go to Transform-> Auto-Orient -> Orient Along Path. Add a wiggle expression to get some variety in the paths

Oh, man. Use 3D MAX or another 3D app for this.

yeap, I just did it in 3D max and it was so much easier.
I made a path and used flex and bend.

I don’t know why, but somehow I tend to believe that I can do everything in AE and end up using 3D max for those type of work.

    Thanks.
