  Diagonal Scratch Removal Filter?

  Hi, all!

  I’m re-cutting an old feature film that regrettably contains some diagonal scratches (a.k.a. “rain”). The scratches are generally only one frame in duration.

  Does anyone know of any FCP scratch removal filters/plug-ins that can be adjusted to angles other than vertical?

  If you have Photoshop Extended, you can paint out the scratches there. Otherwise, I’d use Shake.
