  29.97 to 30fps

  I’m editing live events, and would much prefer to use multiclip, than the old way. Problem is, my boss keeps giving me footage from different cameras. One is set to 30 fps, and the other to 29.97. Is there any way of converting the footage and adjusting the fps?
  The other thing is that the two pieces of footage keep getting out of sync, which means I have to manually adjust them every minute or so. Might this also be due to the difference in fps?

  what cam uses 30 FPS?
  (Only the still cams that shoot video nowadays do..)
  Aren’t you confusing it with drop and non-drop?

  I would convert the 30fps footage to 29.97 using Compressor. You shouldn’t have a problem after that.
