  Sony Deck not responding

  Trying to capture footage from my Sony M35u deck and it is not responding to anything. I pressed play on the deck and the tape started, everything working fine, and all of the sudden when I go to stop it, none of the buttons on the deck work, stop, pause, power, eject, nothing works and the tape is still playing, How do I fix this? Any ideas?

  Unplug the deck from power
  power back up and see if you have a hardware switch named “key inhibit” make sure it’s off
  if it’s not a hardware switch it may be a menu item.
  I don’t know this deck but thats the behavior on the pro decks when key inhibit is on.
  It may also be menu settings if it thinks it’s in remote.
  sometimes a reboot helps. ie power down power up

  Thanks for your response Doug, The Key Inhibit switch was on, switched it off and everything is Good! Thanks a lot, I never even knew what that switch was used for, Thanks again Doug
