  Does changing Graphic card increase speed of render time?

  Hello.

  I was wondering changing the graphic card will help increase the speed of render. I currently own 2008 Mac two- quad core and ATI 2600HD graphic card.

  If do, what graphic card do you recommend? (I wish Nvidia’s tesla is available for us :))

  A better graphic card In FC would speed up the fxplugs filters. They are rendered in the GPU.
  Motion and Color would also be benefited.
