So I have a video that’s 16×9 and when I look at the video in FCP 7 and in QT Pro 7 everything is fine, but when I look at the video in the New QT Player and on Safari, the video is stretched out 33%… Weird, right? Is there something new with the new version of QT??

Please give complete and exact specifications of your your clip properties, your item properties, and what procedure you’re using to export this media.

Here is the link to the video Reel:

We are sending it through the Compressor window, and it’s going through at

    H.264
    640 x 363 is being stretched to 854 x 363

While in QT Pro 7 it remains 640 x 363,

The aspect ratio used in Compressor is .75

Let me know if that helps.

I’m sorry this is not enough information. Please give the information for you’re original clip files and for the sequence you’re exporting from. These are quite bizarre numbers but it looks as if the material is trying to be exporting to widescreen but the anamorphic flag is set for the material. The export file doesn’t help much unless we know where you’re going from and where you’re trying to get to.
