I can add any RED’s transition in FCP 7’s Timeline. They perform OK.

But when I burn a DVD either regular DVD or Blu Ray, the transitions are NOT there.

FCP people suggested to create a QuickTime movie prior to burning the DVD. The QuickTime movie is to be imported into a new Timeline and then proceed to burn the DVD.

That worked, but is a rather long process, considering that I am dealing with 1-hr long programs.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks for info.

That’s how they should be done in the first place, especially for timelines with non-native FCP filters.
