    HI There!!

Okay, here is my issue. We filmed footage on my friends Canon XHA1 in 1080p24 and footage on my Sony Sr11. The main project setting are the Canon settings, but when I try to put the footage from the Sony into the same sequence it is jumpy because of the different frame rates…I think.

I usually use 1080i60 as setting to log and transfer the footage from my Sony.

Here are the sequence setting to the main project from the Canon Camera:

I have tried opening a new sequence, and dropping the Sony footage into it and it plays perfectly. Here are the sequence settings:

I have also tried exporting the footage full quality from the Sony setting, making it into an mpeg4, importing it into the Canon project and rendering it and it is still jumpy. Is there a way to make it so I can edit both footage from both cameras in one project?

    Thanks for your time!

    –Brittani 🙂

Try using Compressor to convert to the timebase of your choice. Be sure to turn Frame Controls on and select Best for all quality settings.
