  Can you batch export using the Sony XDCAM Tool in FCP?

  I have over 300 videos that have to be archived to onto XDCAM discs. In order to do that, I have to bring the ProRes MOV files into FCP and put them into sequences, because XDCAM doesn’t like stereo audio, only dual mono.

  Anyway, now I have a whole bunch of sequences to convert to MXF. The only way to do that is Export > Sony XDCAM….

  There’s no option to batch export, so I have to do it one at a time. WTH? I thought I might be overlooking something, but none of the other editors I work with have ever batch exported MXFs before.

  Does anyone know of a solution for this? I’ve never encountered an export tool that doesn’t allow you to select multiple files.

  Please Help!

  Did you ever get this figured out? I just started a project in FCP and need to output several segements to XDCam.
