  HELP – my user has no fonts (font book) fcp crashing

  Hello All,

  I have searched the forums trying to figure this out and am running out of time, adding text in fcp 6 crashes it.

  – have trashed preferences
  – validated fonts
  – re-installed fcp (was desperate)

  comparing font book on my mac book pro (where fcp is crashing)with my iMac and found no fonts in the user. hummmm , what do I do? Thank you, Maria

  Mac Book Pro
  OS 10.5.8
  FCP 6

  about 2,000 fonts in my libray

  You most likely have a corrupt font on your system.

  Re-installed operating system with no success? Have been on the apple forum with no luck, can anyone help? Thank you Maria
