  alphabetical ordering in the browser

  Hello all,

  I have a very simple question…

  I have been renaming my files within the browser, in order to have them in the order I want when I sort it alphabetically… only recently, having renamed most of them, some of them don’t get sorted (i.e one file name ’47 blah’ stays put before ’46 blah’ or ’45 blah blah’ etc).

  is there something I can do to make sure they all follow the alphabetical order? having renamed hundreds files its driving me insane that a dozen of them are refusing to conform to the order

  Make sure there are no additional spaces in front of the names or after the names. If you have a blank space, it will come before another file.

  Make sure the name column is selected, highlighted, at the top of the columns, and not some other column.
