  Quicktime Compatibility Question

  So I have been trying to find a nice small codec to email clients for rough approval.

  It does not have to be great quality… file size is more important to me.

  SO… I have been using the export to iPhone movie export feature within quicktime pro.

  So it spits out a .m4v file and I change the extension to .mp4 – I read on a forum here that was what you should do so all users even those without iTunes can open it.

  Problem is, lately I have gotten more and more people telling me they cannot open it on windows machines.

  I thought the MP4 format was pretty common on PC’s

  Any suggestions?

  They have to have QT7
