  • Cropping on Quicktime Conversion to FLV file

I want to crop the left and right sides of the frame when doing an export to an FLV file using Quicktime Conversion. However, I must be doing something wrong. Using the crop option, I input 8 pixels on either side–left and right. Then, what exactly do I input for the “resize” option?

I have tried different combinations for resizing, but either nothing changes (no cropping occurs) or I get a strange aspect ratio.

I don’t encode flvs this way. However, I suggest you set the crop as you’re doing and then, enter the final size you want for your flv in the resize window (for example, 480×270).
