    Well, a “dual monitor” basically means that you will be using TWO monitors as your desktop and editing interface. The timeline and Viewer and Canvas on one, and the Browser and bins on the other. Nothing major there. And decent computer monitor will do…Dell, Apple Cinema Display, Acer, Viewsonic.

    Now…monitoring for Color Correction…that is a whole different ball of wax. SD or HD? what format? You might need a capture card and depending on the format, and HD monitor or SD monitor. If not for broadcast, then you can get away with a TV, and the card options for doing that are cheaper.
