  Timeline Question

  Is it possible to display in the timeline, something that will instantly show which clips on a timeline have filters applied?

  Its not something i have ever needed before, but after being given a long timeline with lots of clips – it would be really useful to know which have the filters and which don’t.

  In your sequence and user settings there is a tab called timeline options. In that tab you can select a box that will show on the timeline which clips have filters applied.

  Thanks Neal,

  i’m using that setting but it seems to be inaccurate.

  According to the manual, i should see a green line under the clips that have filters applied. There are a few clips showing this, but there are also a whole heap with filters that are not appearing.

  these kind of inconsistencies really bug me!!

  answered my problem…it seems the indicator only appears if the filter is active. There are plenty of filters that have been applied to this timeline, but few are active, so only a few appear.

  hope that helps anyone else puzzling over this.

  I just use the Clip Keyframes mode (Option + T) If there is a green bar, then there is a filter applied.
