    hello people.
    i tryed to put a look(painted/comic) on filmed footage, like in the movie (renaissance)

    i thing i came in the direction but i cant make it like in the movie;(
    i tryed also the cartoon tutorial from creativecow but thats not my goal.
    i did it already with illustrator live-trace but when the movie is running its always flaring at the edges..
    do anyone have an idea how to make the Renaissance look?

    The film is CG: motion capture applied to 3D models, not shot footage. Sorry. 🙂

    If you Google “attitude studio” and “renaissance” you should find more information. Sorry, it’s probably in English.
    You may also want to look for articles on “Sin City”. Go to IMDB and look for whoever did the visual effects and go from there.
