  Help with text, masks and motion path

  Hi everyone. I’m trying to create a mask so that text appears in that shape..It’s kind of hard to explain.

  Sort of like handwriting. I want the text to appear as if someone was writing it at the moment.

  I’m a begginner at AE so I’m not really sure how I would do this but I think I’m on the right track with mask and motion paths..if I’m completly off can someone please help me or put me back on track?

  Click on Aharon’s head on the main AE page and scroll down to “Animating a Signature”, there are two parts. It’s probably what you want.
