  red render bar after adding more that 2 audio tracks

  Hi,

  Have a question – when I add more that 2 audio tracks to my timeline, red bar indicating render need appears – is it normal? How can I overcome it? It is very problematic as precise edition is not possible when I need to render the sequence upon any change in the timeline….

  open up the FCP User Prefs and set the”Real Time audio tracks” to a number up to 12 for playback – also set the quality level to low- for playback to allow for faster processing.
