Mixing sample bit depth
If i have my sequence setting sample rate set to 48 khz 24 bit integer and some of my audio is 48 khz 16 bit integer and some is 48 khz 24 bit integer, for maximum sound quality and also stability do i need to make all my audio the same bit depth rate? i guess it would be 24 bit as thats meant to be higher quality. If they are all 48 khz does it matter if some files are 16 bit and some are 24 if the sequence settings are set to 24 bit and they are exported all 48 khz?

Hi Marcus,
You don’t really need to convert nothing prior to importing.
Whatever thing you put in a sequence will be converted to the setting of the sequence.
The default is 24b/48Khz.
You only needs some times to transcode MP3 or some other kind of audio files that can not be read in RT by FC.
