    Hi fellows …
I need some advice … I will have to edit some movies with some slideshows made with 35m Pos Slides.
The question is what could be a good size and resolution for scanning de 35m Pos Slides and add some FXs and movements to the slides in the timeline and also if someone knows a proper product for cleaning the slides … Could it be Isopropilic Alchool ?
I will also use Motion ….

Since a slide is about an inch wide, you’ll need to scan at 800 dpi for SD and around 1600 dpi for 720p HD.

I forget the actual width of a slide, but the math is pretty simple. You’ll need as many dots as your screen is wide. And more if you’re zooming or cropping.
