  • when to use/not use reverse telecine and video filters

    Hi-
I have a Beta SP project (SD, originally transferred from 35mm) that I recently converted to 8 bit uncompressed .mov files at 29.97fps on a hard drive to re-edit in FCP 6.

Is there any advantage/disadvantage to using Reverse Telecine when I output via Compressor to DVD Studio Pro (single layer dvd)?

Also, does anybody have advice about using the “sharpen edge” and and “noise removal” video filters for a project like this?

    Thank you.
