    Hello,
I’m trying to figure out if anybody knows of a plug-in or a script out there that would allow an export from After Effects to an illustrator file image sequence.

FYI. I would like to import these files into an image program to apply an effect to the vector lines. So I need a file that will retain the masks. I need After Effects to animate and interpolate.

    Thanks,
    BK

Render a image seq, import into Ill. and create vector based imaages using live trace. Would that work? Or is that backwards?

Hmm … if you had flash, maybe you could create an swf (assuming no raster effects) from AE, import the SWF into Flash, then export Illy from Flash?

    (I’ve never tried it…)
