I have a little problem. We are trying export to XDCAM from Final Cut 6.0.5. The audio came in and single channel instead dual channel. But on the timeline it was changed to mono. For some reason when it exports it to the XDCAM exporter it only comes out as one channel. Anyone been able to get it to change to a mono and have both channels present?

    Any help is well appreciated.

By it’s very definition mono is one channel. Do you need a dual mono file?

Then you need to duplicate your mono file to put it in to two channels and export dual mono. Or duplicate the mono file, pan one left and one right and make a stereo export.
