  Cinema Tools Question

  Hey Cows,

  I have some telecined footage that was captured and I already broke up into subclips. I’ve decided that it would be best if I work at 23.98 and remove the pulldown. Is there any easy way to do this so that my subclips connect to the new reversed telecined clip? Or do I have to start from scratch?

  Gonna have to start from scratch. The supclips reference a different frame rate, so they won’t connect at all.

  Thought so. Bummersville. I see that the subclips are marked as master clips, and I can batch reconnect them to the source media file…but I am a bit weary of doing it do to the TC change.

  Stop right there. If you have telecined footage, you probably have ALE or FLX files to go with them. You should import those logs into Cinema Tools, use that to generate an FCP batch list & then you can capture & remove pulldown. This will save you a lot of pain & suffering (& probably some $$$) later on.
