  how to record from HDV

  Hi mates

  i’m trying to record in HD format from a sony HDV camcorder

  when the HDV configuration is activated FCP record at 720/576 PAL (?)

  and in apple pro res 422, nothing happen when i try to capture (?) the window with small window stays for ever…

  what is the best solution to record from HDV in FCP ?

  CHoose the HDV 1080i60 Easy Setup option if you are in NTSC land, or HDV 1080i50 Easy Setup if you are in PAL land.

  Done.

  Or, if you want to capture HDV as ProRes via Firewire…
