  • Capture Audio and Video out of Sync

We capture video from multiple cameras through a switcher to select the appropriate footage and angle, the audio is fed from a mixer board into a MAC Pro via Aja Konah card. The audio and video go out of sync after capturing for 2 to 3 mins and gets worse the longer we record.

    Any Ideas?

I’m not totally sure what you’re asking about the sync, it all feeds thru a panasonic switch to the konah card.

A sync signal, also known as reference (ref) sync or black, should be fed to the cameras, switcher and the AJA card. This signal is what keeps all the signals synced so you don’t experience drift.
