I’m editing a 3 camera shoot in 1080i60 in FCP. I’m using multicam for the first time ever.

My first problem, which I’ve already found a workaround for, is this: the audio is recorded to each camera, so 4 channels of audio per camera with 3 cameras makes 12 channels of audio. When I combine my 3 clips into a multiclip and place it on a timeline, I only can see 4 channels of audio at a time, and my audio changes as I change shots (unless I unlink the audio and video, but then I’m still not getting all the audio available to me). My workaround is just placing each clips audio on the timeline separately so I get all 12 channels of my audio to choose from, and then placing my multiclip in without any audio, but is there a better way to do this, or a faster way?

My second problem stems from my workaround to my first problem. On every shot change FCP is telling me my video is out of sync with its audio. This really puzzles me since it doesnt have any audio to be out of sync with. And the audio is clearly in sync as I watch/listen. But it sure is annoying to have a red mark on every single edit. Is there anything I can do to solve this, even its as simple as turning those markers off (which I don’t know if you can do)?
