  Jerky footage when working in 1080i60

  I’m trying to work on a project involving 1080i60 footage.

  Kona reports the incoming video as 1080i29.97, and my capture preset is for 1080i29.97, but the video is jerky in the preview window and jerky after capture. Do I have to remove pulldown? If so, how do I actually go about this once all the clips are captured? Does it involve having to create new media files (i.e. doubling up on disk space)?

  We are gonna need a tad more detail. 1080i60…from what? HDV? HDCAM? HDCAM SR? Captured with a Kona…? 3? LH? Where is this footage stored…what sort of hard drives? And you captured it at what codec? ProRes? Uncompressed HD? DVCPRO HD?

  You only remove pulldown on 24p footage, if needed.
