Can anyone help me with this one….currently I’m working with another editor, I often make up projects that are then saved onto a shared drive, we are both rendering to the same place, yet when the other editor opens up the projects they need to be re rendered, when I have rendered them from my computer….anyone got any ideas on how we can avoid double rendering??

    thanks

    Hi Anna,
Which FC version are you running?

6.0.4…I’ve been trying to convince them to update but they are hesitant to do it mid project!

    Hi Anna,
In FC 6.0.2/3 or so was an issue with the renders.
When you save the project with a different name, the renders wouldn’t connect in the new project.
That was a very annoying bug that was fixed.
I don’t know if your problem have the same origin (I think in FC 6.0.4 waas already fixed).
    You are sharing your storage.
I would make sure that there are no Permissions conflicts and that the system have no problem identifying the files. DiskWarrior, TechTools or so.
