Hi, I’m hoping I can get some advice here on whether this is possible…

I’ve got a feature length project spread out over 3 drives, and I need to continue working while traveling.
I’d prefer not to transport all 3 drives, so I’m wondering if there’s a way to copy the media used in my sequence from drives #1 & #2, and copy them to drive #3.

Ideally I’d like to be able to relink to the original media spread out over 3 drives once I return home. Is this possible under the current Media Manager?

Is it even possible to pick which drive you want to copy/move media from when you select an entire timeline? It looks like media manager wants to also copy the media from drive #3 back on to drive #3.

Hopefully I’m wording this to make some sense. Thanks for the help sorting this out.

That would be a pretty stupid if that was the case. You can pick whatever destination you want at the bottom of the media manager window.

You said this is a feature, does it use separate audio and merged clips. If so you want to do some tests as MM has been problematic with merged clips.

    All the best,

    Tom
