Hi all, I am at a bit of a loose end. I am currently editing quite a clot of footage that was imported from a z1 in HDV at 50 fps. It was imported into FCP as so and everything is going ok. However the footage in the viewer and the canvas seems to have aliasing on it (it’s probably not, although I can’t name it better) – whenever there is movement in the picture there is ‘striping’ in the picture. However if I make the image 125% it goes away. If I export it as a quicktime movie, the striping remains, however if I then import that quicktime movie into itunes, it goes away and the image looks great again….any ideas ??
    Thanks for anyhelp

    You’re seeing interlacing artifacts.
the topic is way too complicated to handle in this little posty so search your manuals for the basics, search the forum for endless suggestions and assistance.
