  Applying distort to clips in the browser?

  Is there a way to “paste attributes” onto clips in the browser? I want to apply an aspect ratio distort to a bunch of clips at once.

  Well, you could put them all in a sequence, then paste attributes of the distortion, then drag these sequence clips back to the browser, but no way to apply motion effects to clips directly in the Browser.

  Not completely true. If you imported 16:9 anamorphic as normal, it’s an easy fix. Simply show the anamorphic column, select all the clips, and right click the animorphic field and change the setting. That will change the distort attribute appropriately on all the clips.
