    Hey guys –

Just wondering if anyone has any advice for this scenario: P2LogPro sees all the files inside a firestore or P2 card folder. You can play them, check their metadata, flagging, log info, etc. All seems hunky dory.

Then you switch to FCP, open Log and Transfer – and only some of the clips open! In other words, for some unkown reason FCP does not see all the P2 clips on the card or firestore. This has been tested so far on at least two different FCP versions /machines/copies of the material, so it’s probably an interface issue.

If you have any ideas as to why this might be happening, please let me know. I have used these machines before to log and transfer P2 material without this problem and have not installed/updated anything weird since then – like RED software, for instance.

    Many thanks –

    Alex

I think I found an answer – FCP Log and Transfer links spanned clips to make only one, with the name of the first clip of the spanned series (and since Firestore is MSDOS based, despite it being 100Gb it still partitions).

In essence, the material is there, just hidden under the first spanned clip, in its entirety.

Hope this helps anyone who experienced the same problem.
