  importing droplets in compressor

  How can I import droplets on my desktop (taken from someone elses computer) in to copressor so that I can change settings?

  You cannot import droplets, they are standalone applications. Easiest way to transfer a setting that you want to take to another system is…

  In compressor add the preset you want to move into an empty batch tab and do a Save. Take this file to your other system and double click on it and it will open up in Compressor. It will be in an empty batch tab. Double click on the preset to load it into the inspector, click says as and name it what you want and it is now save in your Compressor.

  Art films. I do all filming and post. Using Sony EX 1 and FCP 6.
