  FCP output Broll Reel for PC clients

  I’ve been having all sorts of trouble lately with client broll outputs, Please Help!

  We shoot with an HVX-200 most of the time but also use an XDCam-EX for the rest, everything goes wonderful and fancy free until the client says those terrifying words: Can I get the footage?

  Everything we do is Apple based, but of all the clients I’ve had only 1 has ever used Mac.

  My question is:

  What kind of compression can we use to give them a High Quality copy in digital form?

  In some cases for web video I’ve used MPEG-2, and I’d like to leave the footage in a format that’s the best quality for the next professional to use, while allowing the client to still preview the footage on their PC’s.
