SD and HD out at the same time.
I have AJA Kona LHe setup from Media100.
In Media 100 I can output different signals through SDI 1, 2 and component/YC/composite outputs at the same time.
This is great I can view HD on one monitor from SDI and use SD scopes from component out.
Or record SD and HD to tape at the same time.
I cant figure out how to do this in FCP even if I set up using AJA control panel. It is either HD on all 3 outs or SD.

AJA Control Panel.
Format Tab – Set your Primary and Secondary Formats correctly for what you’re working with.
Click each Output from the Kona.
Select whether you want the Primary or Secondary Format to display on each output.
With the Control panel you can do all three outputs independently. SD, HD and even cross-conversion.

Where is that format tab?
AV setup does not have that tab FCP 6.0.5, it only has 1 out.

On my system the AJA box controls the outputs. I have 2 SDI outs that can be set seperately. Check you output device.

Well in my Sys prefs there is a M100 control panel, not AJA’s own.
I can set SDI 1,2 and analog outputs.
But it makes no difference, if FCP is set to HD they all turn HD, or SD all SD.
I guess I will have to contact M100.

M100 is not going to be able to help you with an FCP issue. As Walter said, there is an AJA control panel, it is a little app, located in your applications folder.

It’s not in your System Preferences.
Once again. The AJA Control Panel. it’s in your Applications Folder.

Yes, this is absolutely correct because you don’t change anything in FCP, you change in the….. AJA Control Panel.
