FCP-Compressor help
I am compressing a 10 minute 16:9 1080-60i video using compressor. I created a custom setting for the compression. I pasted the summery of the settings below. The issue is that it is taking forever to compress. It has been working for over 1.5 hours and it’s still not finished. Anyone know why it is taking so long? Most of my compressions take a matter of minutes…sometimes 1/2 hour, but never this long.
I am exporting directly from FCP to compressor with settings below. would it be faster to first export to a QT movie and then compress?
Any help would be appreciated.thanks

OK. Try exporting first. Then bring that to Compressor.
