  FCP 5 clips out of synch only on timeline??!!

  I’ve been reading a bunch of threads but haven’t found the answer to my situation here.

  My footage is out of synch on the timeline!

  I’m editing DVX 200a footage at 24P Advanced setting. I selected ‘pulldown’ for digitizing. Editing on FCP5 using a Mac G5. Set capture scratch to a 1TB external hardrive.

  I’ve digitized and logged all 18 tapes and the subclips play just fine in the preview window… but when I place the clip onto the timeline, they will be out of synch anywhere from 16 to 24 frames.

  Maybe this is an easy fix, maybe my hardrive is slow, or maybe my timeline audio settings are wrong??

  Don’t know what to do.

  Anybody have a clue?

  PS, I did “capture now” all the tapes. But why would the preview window show all tapes and clips in-synch? Problem is only on timeline.
