  {Bug} [AfterEffects 7] QT import from Quantel to AE

  I seem to be having trouble with HD 1080i Quicktimes exported out of Quantel eQ and loaded into After Effects.

  Clips are imported with defaults as square pixel interpretation. My 1920×1080 clip’s layer displays in a comp as 1×1080 squeezing the image to a width of 1 pixel, while the comp size is correct. Switching interpretation to non-square pixels fixes the problem.

  I’m not sure if it’s Q or AE causing this. Has anyone encountered this and if so, what is happening?
