  Combining sequences of different frame rates.

  I’m Editing a long-form piece….. With tons of footage, shot over 2 years, by different photographers, on different formats.

  I have a several smaller sequences I’m trying to string together. The problem is some of the footage was shot in different frame rates.

  How do I put 2 or 3 sequences of different frame rates together????
  Right now I copy the part of a sequence I like and paste it in to my main sequence…… but I end up with flash frames and sync issues.

  The Final Sequence should be in 24fps (23.98 HD720).
  Most of the footage is shot at this frame rate (23.98 on P2). However some was shot at 29.97fps (there’s a little 59.94 also)…. the sequences are set at the frame rate of the footage. So when I add a small sequence of 29.97fps to my primary sequence (23.98) I end up with problems

  Any suggestions on how to string sequences of different frame rates together with my primary sequence of 23.98????

  Convert the footage to 23.98 using Compressor.
