    Hi,

I am having problems with the capture of material in SD format with the HDV camera JVC JY – HD10.

Please let me know the way to make it work. I had a hard time to capture the HD format but I finally did it but with the SD it’s still a problem.

    Thxs in advance,

If you can tell us what FCP easy setup & how the JVC is set up and what the actual problem is we might be able to do more than wild guessing.

    Michael,

I am trying to capture as the HDV way, choosing HDV 720p 30, this is the way HD from JVC can be digitized but when I am trying in SD I actually don’t know how to digitize it, so I am also wild guessing…

This camera allow you to capture in HD (HDV JVC), SD and DV. I don’t have any problem digitizing in HD or DV but I still can’ t make it in SD format.

To capture in DV I just have to capture in Firewire NTSC 48khz…

Please let me know if you people know the way…

720p30? Shouldn’t you be using 720p25 in Spain?

Are you using the correct DV Anamorphic preset?

    All the best,

OK, then you use the DV NTSC Anamorphic preset.

    All the best,

No, it’s not working that way, only in Dv but when I try to digitze SD format it’s impossible!
