exported with h.264 and no video, just audio
Hi There!
I shot a wedding with my EX1 xd cam in 1080i 30p. I exported using quicktime conversion and followed the steps from Ken Stone’s site using H.264 codec. I switched the “Key Frames” to Automatic and the frame rate at 15fps. When I go to import the movie in DVDSP (in HD), I can only see the audio, not video. Is there a certain frame rate I should have it on? Am I doing something else wrong? I want the quality of my HD video to look great on DVD.

Are you attempting to make a HD DVD? If so that format was DISCONTINUED as a media format before Apple was able to offer full support (it only had partial support at the time HD DVD was done away with)

Is possible to toast a HD in a standard DVD, but check the setting you are using.
15fps is a speed for web videos or so, but no for any quality/standard video. Keep the speed of your original video.

Thanks for the feedback! I didn’t know 15fps was for webvideo so I’m glad I can eliminate that! But I did build it in DVDSP and burned it in Toast and the picture looks horrible-exported as a regular quicktime movie. I don’t know what to do and I’m trying to get this out in 2 days! What am I doing wrong to get this awful quality?Thanks for your help!

I really have n experience about HD DVDs.
What I know is that people are using MPG-2 to dot hem. At least the people are doing BluRay are using high data rate MPG-2.
In theory you can print H264, but for I don’t know the reason, it seems that they don’t work.Cheers,
