    Hey there!

Im quite a newbie on editing and im having a problem on a multicamera concert. I already have the major edit, but the inserts im having problems are recorded from 3 real security cameras that has a 8fps frame rate.

Originally it was on another format that i couldnt read and the guy from the band somehow transcribed it to avi files, wich afterward i exported in a 25fps dvpal .mov in the FCP.

The real problem im facing now is that this cameras content dont match with the timecode.. It goes faster than the rest of the other clips and i really dont have a clue how to solve it…

    Does anyone have a clue?
    Thank you very much.

Sounds like something went wrong when you transcoded the .avi’s to pal DV quicktimes.

I’d suggest running the current quicktimes through compressor to be sure that they end up at 25fps PAL DV files.

Its essential when using multicam that all files have matching formats.
