Color Correct Help
I tweaked the color, brightness, contrast, etc. on a clip of an interview subject in a project. I got it right where I want it and now I want to copy and paste that same color correct effect onto all the other clips with that interview subject. I know this should be simple, but I can’t figure out how to do it…can someone help? thanks

right click on the clip, copy, then paste attributes wherever you wnat and check filter

Highlight the clip…press COMMAND-C…copy. Highlight all the clips you want to add this too….press OPTION-V…paste attributes. Choose FILTERS.

Alternatively, as you look at the visual interface for the CC filter, the upper left corner will have an icon that looks like a hand on a box. click and drag that icon to the clips on your timeline. Or, under the filter tab, you can drag the filter to the clips on your timeline.

Also you may want to create a Color Correction Bin within your project that contains the color correction filters, and settings for each interview subject. This way you can easily copy and drag from your Color Correction Bin to future clips inserted in your edit.

Beware of copy >paste attributes if you have any other filters on that clip. It will copy all filters.
The idea of dragging the grade to a bin and then dropping onto multiple selected clips is safer. A little tip with that. If like me you might have two or three filters and you want to apply them in order, then rename them in the bin and make sure they sort in the order you want. Highlight all filters and then drag onto multiple clip selection.
