I’m wondering what the best way to master Final Cut Pro is. I’m in school for communications but looking to get into tv/video when I get out. I’ve made videos in Final Cut so know all the basics. But I’m looking really just learn everything in it to get my certificate for it in the future. I’m not able to get to a training center so I’d have to do it through online courses or dvd/books. Also I’m not really do any projects or know any to work on right now so I’d have to deal w/ that also.

I’ve looked on this site for a few and found this:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WGLAQU

    Any other suggestions?

Taking a class is the best possible way, short of that, I also reccomend the Peachpit Apple Pro Training Series (this is what we use for certification-oriented classes):

and Lynda.com is a great resource as well.

I’m moving to Final Cut after 15 years with Media Composer. I’m wondering about Apple Certification. Is this worthwhile? There are a bunch of courses offered this year at NAB. If you could get any two certifications on FCP systems, what would they be? Final Cut level 1 and level 2? Final cut level 1 and Motion level 1? any thoughts?
