Eagle-eyed viewers (in the UK) will have spotted
Creative Cow’s ‘iPod commercial’ tutorial on BBC3
idents recently. It’s an Aharon tutorial, if I
    remember rightly. It’s in 2 parts but I couldn’t
either when recently searching for them at CC.

Anyhoots, it’s Part 1 – the orange squiggly line
thing – that (Red Bee Media, I expect) have, eh,
appropriated. They’ve done nothing to it expect
layer a few glows and graphics over the top, the
    lazy swines.

Do I have to point out the irony that Creative Cow nicked it off whoever did the original iPod commercials…? tee hee hee…

Nope. That’s an Andrew Kramer tutorial which can be found HERE.

That’s the fella. I was almost transfixed watching
it – not because the Beeb people had pinched it but
because of the hyperbole which normally eminates
from the Red Bee offices. (I was head of production
    for a BBCi channel 2005-2006.)

Kramer’s ‘Riot Gear’ arrived at the office a couple
of days ago. Haven’t had chance to preview it yet,
    though. Looks very sexy.

    Darren.
