Format blown-uo on timeline
Hi,
I am cutting a scene in a film on FCP timeline DV/DVC Pro-NTSC 720 x 840 & 29.97 fps and one of the sequences I need is DV/DVC Pro-NTSC video 720 x 840 & 29.97 fps but it is on an HD (1440-1080)sequence timeline. What is the best way to import the video from this sequence to our DV/DVC timeline, if I drag it into the timeline or copy and paste the video it is blownup, oversized

Copy and paste the clips into the new sequence, and then remove the basic motion (and perhaps the distort) attributes.
You’ll have to reposition any clips that were purposefully scaled (i.e. picture in picture, etc.).

It comes in that way because it’s larger than your sequence’s settings. Open the motion tab and adjust the scale so it fits.

Hi Carrie,
I don’t know if is just a typo, but you wrote twice: 720 x 840.
NTSC is 720 x 480. You need your sequence NTSC Anamorphic.
