Motion Tab (Easy Question)
When I highlight a clip in the timeline, I can go to the motion tab and move the object with keyframes with no problem. But, if I highlight several clips, how can I make a move using the keyframes. I am sure this is simple, but I can’t figure it out.

Make the change(s) in the Motion Tab on the first clip.
Select (highlight) that clip on the timeline.
Copy (Apple-c) that clip and then…Select any and all of the other clips you want to change (to match changes made on the first clip.
Paste (Apple-v) on the other clip(s) and the same Motion will be applied.

Don’t you mean paste attributes which is option-v? Then you select which attributes you want affected from the dialogue that pops up. In this case Basic Motion. This will make the 2 clips move exactly the same way.
However, if the object is to move a number of clips relative to each other, then you should nest those clips and then move the nest.

Paste Attributes (option-v) and check the boxes of the changes you want to “paste” the the same Motion will be applied if you choose “Basic Motion.”[John Fishback] “Don’t you mean paste attributes which is option-v?”

You can’t directly apply motion to act on a group of clips as a single entity (although you can apply the same parameters to each member of a group) .. what you can do tho, is to nest those items first (Opt – C) and then apply the motion to the nest
