I’m thinking of upgrading from FC Express to Pro. I know that the projects themselves are not a problem but how about the capture. I did all FCEx capture in the HDV Apple Intermediate Codec 1080i60. FCPro allows for HDV 1080i60 which I understand is a better final product and easier to edit since switching codecs is not as seamless as it should be. Is this correct?
Is there a way to convert my already captured FCEx footage in Apple Intermediate to FCPro’s HDV 1080i60? or do I have to do a recapture of all that footage? What are the concerns? Should I just keep everything in the Apple Intermed. codec? Is HDV 1080i60 better in final product?

    Thank you and Aloha.
