  Log and Transfer AVCHD in Sony SR11

  Okay, guys. I need some help. In the past, I’ve been able to log and transfer thru FCP 6.0.3 my clips in my Sony SR11 – no problem. Now, when I transfer a clip…I get a glitch almost every second…it’s like the video backtracks to a previous frame, then resumes. It is totally unusable. I use the Apple Intermediate Codec, Intel machine, etc. Like I said, I logged and transferred about 50 clips already. But now this happens. Anybody have any suggestions?

  Robert,

  Check to see if you have Perian installed … if you do, then you might want to try updating it to the latest version and/or uninstalling it. Then test and see if the issue you’re reporting is resolved.
